I am the Assistant Commissioner for Multimedia at the Patriot League where I produce video content for the League's digital network. Prior to working in multimedia, I was a journalist, writing for several newspapers since graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005. I have a bachelor's in media communications and criminal justice from Pittsburgh, as well as a master's in electronic media from Kutztown University. As a fiction writer, I have been active my entire life, writing short stories, but I had never put together a complete novel until reconnecting with my old high school friend, Mark Wisniewski, at our 10-year reunion. Since the moment we decided to work together, I've been motivated with numerous storylines and great ideas for future novels. It's so much fun to sit around with a great friend and talk through story ideas before putting it into words. I look forward to building the 'Mark Patrick' brand into a series of books that everyone can enjoy. I am a high school English teacher where I have taught 9th grade English, British Literature, and AP English Language over the last 15 years. I graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2005 with a bachelor's in English secondary education. I also have a master's in education and I'm currently working toward a master's in creative writing and literature. I have been writing stories since I was in elementary school, literally before I could type. I would design covers before I even started handwriting my long stories. I enjoy a good read nowadays, but that wasn't always the case. Growing up, I did not fully appreciate the joy of a good book; I would much rather have sat down and penned a story of my own. Now, I look forward to creating novels and short stories that involve griping main characters and exciting twists with my good friend Jimmy. And, yes, I will read them. 'Mark Patrick' is a pair of long-time friends working together to build a series of novels that will feature paranormal elements that aren't too overbearing, yet just enough to leave you in suspense. As co-authors, Jimmy (Patrick) Johnson and Mark Wisniewski bring together multiple characters to tell a single story.
