CountDown App Design

CountDown is designed to make the task of tracking your events simple and effortless. It does this by allowing you to create and categorize each event that you would like to track. With just a quick clance you can tell the status of the event based upon its respective color.

The app was designed primarily to provide an easy, fast, and simple way to enter and track your favorite events. Within a matter of minutes, you will be tracking all of your events, such as birthdays, anniversaries, number of days until your next vacation and so on. There is no limit and everything is synchronized with all of your other Apple devices.

Getting Started, First Steps

1. In order to begin using CountDown, you must add at least one event.
2. The new event is saved to the local database and instantly and automatically synchronized to the cloud.
3. Install CountDown on your other devices and the events created will automatically synchronized to the new device.

1. Remember to login to you Apple ID account in order to support data synchronization between devices.

Currently our Apps do not log any data related to crashes or normal App functionality.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This App does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the Lite version of the App uses third party code and libraries to provide the in-app ads that may use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. In a future update of our App, you have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device.

Service Providers

Currently CountDown App does not employ any third party services or individuals to provide any services. If this changes in the future, this information will be updated to explain what these services do and if they will have access to your personal data.

Security

All of the information that you enter in to our App is stored in the App’s internal database and in a private iCloud database associated with the user's Apple ID. The iCloud database is use to facilitate syncing the user's data between all of the user's Apple devices. None of this information is shared or stored external to the App by the App or any third party libraries that may be used by the App.

Children’s Privacy

Our Apps are not designed for anyone under the age of 13; however, given the App is designed to collect and maintain data about dates that are important to the specific user, any data would not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
