Adding a new Vehicle

I have been a user of auto log since 2011. I really like your App. This year when I attempted to add my vehicle for the 3rd year, it won't let me do so. I can enter the data for Make, Model, Mileage, etc, but it doesn't save it and allow me to start adding daily logs.
Any assistance you can give would be valuable.

Good Program

Just purchased Autolog and everything works great except one thing. It crashes on service when you enter the date of service.
I transferred my info from lite version using backup and iTunes and that worked great.

Basic question

First how do you create a new trip record for the new year without adding it on to the previous year? When reviewing my yearly trip report the summary shows an outrageous number for total miles. Do I actually have to add them up to get a total?
